The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2 series is a compact range of power contactors designed for switching motors and electrical loads from 7.5 kW to 55 kW at 400 V. Available in frame sizes S00, S0, S2, and S3, these contactors save panel space while providing high contact reliability, even at low switching currents. Many models include integrated auxiliary contacts, typically 1 NO and 1 NC, for straightforward control wiring. The 3RT2 series supports both screw and spring-type terminal options, offering secure, vibration-resistant connections. As part of the SIRIUS modular system, they combine seamlessly with overload relays, circuit breakers, and accessories to create complete load feeders. The devices are approved for global use under IEC and UL/CSA standards. Fail-safe versions with PLC-compatible safety inputs are also available, enabling safety applications up to SIL 3 or PL e when installed in suitable configurations.
